Following his graduation, between 2006 and 2008, Dr. Temizgonul was associated with a private hospital. During this time, he also successfully cleared the United States Medical Licensing Examination. He furthered his expertise in General Surgery at Bakırköy Training and Research Hospital from 2009 to 2014. Here, he made notable contributions to the field by penning a thesis on pain associated with laparoscopic surgery. Additionally, he expanded his knowledge base with hands-on experience in various obesity surgeries, advanced laparoscopy, and robotic surgery techniques.

Between 2014 and 2016, Dr. Temizgonul fulfilled his compulsory service at Kilis State Hospital, where he performed as a war surgeon.
